The film of The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things debuted at the
Cannes Directors' Fortnight in May, 2004 and has since been shown at the Toronto Film Festival and the Los Angeles AFI Festival. Asia
Argento directed, starred and wrote the screenplay for the production.
Cast members Peter Fonda, Ben Foster, Marilyn Manson, Ornella Muti, Kip Pardue, Mike Pitt, Jeremy Renner, John Robinson, Winona Ryder, Matt Schulze and Jeremy Sisto. To cover the different age spans in the film, Jeremiah is portrayed by Jimmy Bennett, Dylan & Cole Sprouse. Filming took place in Knoxville, TN. View pictures from the set.
